Middle Egypt Pumpkin Seeds

Egyptian pumpkin seeds (Cucurbita pepo L.) from Middle Egypt are valued for their large kernel size, dark green color (GWS – grown without shell variety), and high nutritional profile rich in zinc, magnesium, and healthy fats. Middle Egypt's warm growing season and well-drained soils produce pumpkin seeds with excellent kernel-to-shell ratio and the deep green color that commands premium pricing in European and Asian health food markets.

HS Herbs supplies pumpkin seeds in-shell and as hulled GWS (shine-skin) kernels, available raw or roasted. Our seeds are mechanically cleaned, size-graded, and color-sorted. GWS kernels are processed to remove broken pieces and shell fragments. Each lot is tested for oil content, moisture, free fatty acids, and complete microbiology.
