Upper Egypt Flaxseeds Premium

Egypt has cultivated flax (Linum usitatissimum L.) since the time of the pharaohs, and Egyptian flaxseeds remain prized for their high alpha-linolenic acid (ALA omega-3) content, rich lignin concentration, and excellent dietary fiber levels. Upper Egypt's warm, dry climate and well-drained sandy soils produce flaxseeds with superior oil content (38–45%) and the golden-brown color that international health food markets prefer.

HS Herbs supplies whole flaxseeds and freshly milled ground flaxseed. Our flaxseeds are mechanically cleaned, de-stoned, and optically sorted to ensure uniform color and remove damaged seeds. Each lot is tested for oil content, omega-3 (ALA) percentage, moisture, peroxide value, and complete microbiology. We offer both golden and brown flaxseed varieties.
