Egyptian hulled sesame seeds (Sesamum indicum L.) from Upper Egypt are among the finest white sesame grades available globally. Egypt's hot, dry climate and sandy loam soils produce sesame with high oil content (48–55%), uniform seed size, and the bright white color achieved after mechanical hulling — qualities that make Egyptian sesame the preferred choice for tahini production, bakery toppings, and confectionery applications.
