Upper Egypt Green Lentils Premium

Egyptian green lentils (Lens culinaris Medik.) cultivated in Upper Egypt are prized for their firm texture, earthy peppery flavor, and ability to hold their shape during cooking — qualities that make them ideal for salads, side dishes, and premium food preparations. Upper Egypt's warm climate and well-drained soils produce green lentils with high protein content, uniform olive-green color, and consistent cooking characteristics.

HS Herbs supplies whole and split green lentils, processed through de-stoning, aspiration, and optical color sorting. Our green lentils are graded by caliber and color consistency. Each lot is tested for protein, moisture, cooking firmness, and complete microbiology. We offer both standard and large-caliber (Laird-type) grades.
