Egyptian peppermint (Mentha × piperita L.) cultivated in the Fayoum Governorate is globally recognized for its superior menthol content and clean, invigorating aroma. The region's warm days and cool desert nights create a unique stress environment that drives peppermint plants to produce exceptionally high concentrations of menthol — typically 35–45% in the essential oil fraction.
HS Herbs supplies premium cut-and-sifted peppermint leaves as well as steam-distilled peppermint essential oil. Our peppermint is harvested just before peak flowering to maximize menthol yield, then carefully dried at controlled temperatures to preserve volatile oil content and vibrant green color.
