Product Overview
Egyptian sweet basil (Ocimum basilicum L.) from the Fayoum region delivers a rich linalool-dominant essential oil profile and the intense, sweet-clove aroma that premium buyers demand. The warm Fayoum basin with its artesian-fed irrigation and long growing season produces basil leaves with superior oil concentration, vivid green color, and excellent drying characteristics.
HS Herbs supplies sweet basil as whole leaves, cut-and-sifted, and fine powder. Our basil is harvested at the early flowering stage, rapidly dried at low temperatures to lock in volatile oils and preserve the bright green color, and mechanically de-stemmed to achieve high leaf purity. Every batch undergoes volatile oil assay, color grading, and comprehensive microbiology testing.
